Madrid Downtown Segway Tour

About This Experience
The downtown counterpart to the same operator's Retiro loop, running ninety minutes from a shop on Calle de la Escalinata, a minute from Ópera metro. Where the park tour is about gardens and monuments, this one is about streets — the narrow Habsburg grid that predates Madrid's boulevards.
The Royal Palace is the anchor. At around 135,000 square metres it is the largest functioning royal palace in Western Europe by floor area, and the route rides its full frontage rather than glimpsing it from one corner.
As on the operator's other tours, the guide photographs the group at each stop and shares the images afterwards at no charge. Guiding runs in English and Spanish daily, with French departures Wednesday to Sunday.

This was amazing! My 14-year-old and I had a lot of fun. I'm in my late 40s and it was my first time on a Segway. Allen was fantastic — so confident and really believed I could do it when I doubted myself. I would definitely recommend it, and now my son wants to do Segway tours on every holiday. I really enjoyed it!

Frequently Asked Questions
How is this different from the same operator's Retiro tour?
Route and surface. Retiro is wide park paths and monuments; downtown is the narrow Habsburg street grid and the Royal Palace frontage. Downtown runs 90 minutes against Retiro's hour.
Where does it start?
Calle de la Escalinata 10, a minute from Ópera metro in the centre.
Is it suitable for children?
Riders must be at least nine, and those aged 9 to 17 must be accompanied by an adult. For a first ride with children, the operator's Retiro route is the easier surface — city streets mean traffic and kerbs.
Are photos included?
Yes. The guide takes them at the stops and shares them afterwards at no extra cost.
