City Center Guided Segway Tour

About This Experience
This is the least expensive guided Segway tour of central Madrid, and its rating has not suffered for it. The route starts at Plaza de Ópera and runs Plaza Mayor, the Almudena Cathedral, the Royal Palace and the Templo de Debod before returning.
The operator pitches it explicitly at beginners and families, and the inclusions reflect that: pre-training, helmet and safety equipment, insurance, a bottle of water and — more usefully than it sounds if you are booking between a hotel checkout and a flight — free luggage storage at the shop while you ride.
You choose between roughly one hour and an hour and a half. The shorter option covers the Habsburg core; the longer one reaches the Templo de Debod, which is the stop most worth the extra half hour.

Josè was a fantastic host and was very accommodating to all of our questions and his knowledge of the city was great. The segways were a fun way to see parts of the city you wouldn’t normally see, we would highly recommend. Thank you!

Manuel was a great tour guide! He took his time explaining the Segways to ensure our safety and made sure we were comfortable before leaving. We had our 14 and 10 year old daughters on the tour and had a blast! Manuel was very knowledgeable on the history of Spain and gave us detailed explanations of Madrid’s sites. This was a nice way to see the city while having fun! Wish we could have gone for longer, it truly was one of the best tours we’ve done! The printed list of food recs was a bonus from the staff! Highly recommend this company! Thank you for a great experience!

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this the cheapest Segway tour in central Madrid?
It is the lowest-priced guided city-centre Segway tour in Madrid's current catalogue, and it holds one of the highest ratings among centre routes. Only a night tour of the city prices lower.
Should I book one hour or 1.5 hours?
The hour and a half is the one that reaches the Templo de Debod. If you have already seen the temple, or you are riding a Segway for the first time, the hour is enough.
Can I leave my bags somewhere?
Yes — luggage storage at the shop is included while you ride, which is unusual among Madrid Segway operators and useful on an arrival or departure day.
What is the minimum age?
Ten years old.
